There is nothing sicker than a song about demonic vomiting. Purity Ring captures the disturbing and creepy ass nature of childhood innocence and elderly company perfectly in this song. & the singer’s way of starting every stanza with “Grandma” is fucking horrifying (and filthy)! Purity Ring is someone’s possessed little sister wailing over Crystal Castle-like dark synths, or in other words the future of pop music. Cant say how much I like where this is going, its such an emotionally captivating piece that cant be listened to only once. But to make things short and simple: slap. dat. shit.
